About Stoney Brook Plantation:
Located at Gap Mills, West Virginia, it is approximately a 13,000 acre facility offering guided hunts with dogs for Ringneck Pheasants, Chuckar or Hungarian Partridge. Driving time from Pipestem is approximately one hour.
Details of the package:
- Hunting is not permitted on Sundays and a valid West Virginia hunting license is required.
Visit the DNR web site to purchase license.
- Stoney Brook Plantation can accommodate up to forty (40) hunters (four per group) for the guided upland game hunt with dogs.
- Hunters may choose to hunt the Pheasant Hunt or the Combination Hunt (Ringneck Pheasant, Chuckar and Hungarian Partridge).
- Hunters may harvest up to eight (8) Ringneck Pheasants per hunter, or up to ten (10) birds per hunter on the combination hunt (Ringneck Pheasant, Chuckar, Hungarian Partridge). Cleaning and package is available for an additional fee of $2.00 per bird.
- Both the hunting and lodging portions of this package are based on availability.
- Weekday packages (Sunday through Thursday) include one (1) night lodging at Pipestem Resort State Park and a guided upland hunt with dog at Stoney Brook Plantation.
- Weekend packages include lodging at Pipestem Resort State Park on Friday and Saturday (two night minimum) and a guided hunt with dog at Stoney Brook Plantation.
- *Additional nights may be added if available.
- Hunting is not permitted at Pipestem Resort State Park.
- Weekday Upland Game Hunting Package cost: $299.50.
- Weekend Upland Game Hunting Package cost: $329.00.
- Rates are per person, based on double occupancy and availability. Rates are subject to WV taxes.
- There is an additional lodging charge with this package for single occupancy.
