Golf
Courses: Pipestem features two
challenging, beautifully manicured courses. The
18-hole par 72 championship course was designed by
Geoffrey Cornish and features views of the
Bluestone Canyon. Also located at the park is a
challenging 9-hole par 3 course. Both are
complete with rental carts, pro shops, and driving ranges.
A Resident PGA Golf Pro is available for lessons.
The 18-hole course is open year round weather
permitting.

Horse
Stables: Guided horseback rides are
available year-round at the park with rides ranging
from 1/2 hour rides to overnight trips. Hayrides
and wiener roasts available for group outings.Outdoor
Amphitheater: Nestled in a natural
bowl of the forested hills is the amphitheater.
This provides a beautiful setting for weekend summer
entertainment such as oldies rock, blues,
gospel, bluegrass musical groups and theatrical plays.
Nature
Center: The Nature Center is open
year-round and features a wide variety of displays of
indigenous plant and animal life of WV, as well as a
variety of naturalist lead programs. Located at
the Nature Center is the Harris Homestead, a
historical reconstruction of the house, barn and meat
house of a 1900 era Summers County family. Recreation
Center: Olympic size outdoor pool, miniature
golf, lighted tennis courts, and par 3 golf
course is located in this area. A heated indoor
pool, sauna, exercise room and game room are located in
the McKeever Lodge. Miscellaneous
Recreation: A variety of other activities
are available including fishing, paddle boating,
canoeing, hiking on over 20 miles of hiking trails,
bicycling, lighted basketball courts, horseshoes,
archery, picnicking, and hunting at nearby Bluestone
