Pipestem’s campground has a total of 82 sites: 31 with full hookup, 19 with electric only, and an additional 32 sites that are standard sites with no hook up. Amenities include a heated bathhouse, laundry, campground store, games, and a playground area is on-site and open year round.

Reservations will be taken beginning February 15.
Only MAIL-IN reservations will be taken from February 15 - March 14.
Reservations postmarked before February 15 will be returned.
Phone Reservations will be taken beginning March 15 between 8 AM - 4 PM.
Walk-in reservations will be taken beginning April 1 and filled subject to availability.
ADA accessible sites will be rented on a first come, first serve basis to the general public following the handicap preference period which is from February 15 - March 15.
A minimum of two (2) nights, up to a maximum of fourteen (14) nights, is required when making a reservation.
If a reservation is canceled more than seven (7) days in advance, the deposit will be refunded with the exception of the handling fee plus the first night's rental. If canceled seven (7) days or less in advance, no refund will be given.
All sites are available for seasonal reservations.
Reservations may be made by mail, phone, or in person up to two (2) days in advance and must be secured by payment of a deposit for the entire rental fee, plus a $5.00 handling charge.
Payment of the deposit may be made by personal check, money order or accepted credit cards.
The deposit must be received in accordance with instructions given by the park office at the time the reservation is made.
Campsite number will not be guaranteed; however, every effort will be made to assign the campsite requested.
Only one camping unit per site is permitted.
Camping reservation season begins the Friday before Memorial Day and ends Labor Day.
Campsites that are not reserved shall be rented on a first come, first serve basis.
Campers must register before occupying a site.
One responsible person (18 years or older) shall be at each rented campsite and is answerable for the actions and safety of the campsite occupants and liable for any damages caused by them.
Campsites shall be vacated by noon on the day the campsite rental expires.
No objects may be driven into any tree, shrub, rock, sign, building or other object or structure in a state campground. Trenching or digging is prohibited.
Not more than 2 motor vehicles are permitted on a campsite.
Not more than one camping unit per site, except for immediate family members can have two small tents in addition to main unit with prior approval of park superintendent.
Quiet hours are in effect from 10 PM to 7 AM. Generators shall not be operated during these hours.
No bicycle may be ridden in campgrounds after dark, unless it is equipped with lights on both front and rear and they are turned on. Anyone age 15 and under must wear a helmet when riding a bicycle on the park as directed by WV State Law.
Are permitted in the campground but must be on leash not more than 10 feet in length.
WV residents and non-resident Seniors who have reached their 60th birthday will receive a 10% discount on camping rates year-round.
WV Resident seniors who have reached their 62nd birthday will receive a 50% discount on camping rates from the day after Labor Day until 4 days prior to Memorial Day.
Individuals receiving a Senior Citizen rate receive this rate only when the campsite is for their personal use.
Discount for WV residents who are totally and permanently disabled
WV residents who are totally and permanently disabled are entitled to a 50% reduction on campground rental fees from the day after Labor Day until 4 days prior to Memorial Day.
To qualify for this discount, eligible persons must submit an application, certification of state residency, and a disability form to the Chief of Parks. Verified applicants will receive a permanent disability campground discount card via mail. Cards are not issued by individual parks or forests.
